Chapter Four walks through the “Six Stages of Grief” starting from getting a knowledge of what you’re dealing with thru to acceptance.
Being diagnosed with dementia will put you into a state of grief. Greif that the life you thought you had has vanished. Grief that sees the loss of your life as planned to be as dear to you as loss of a loved one.
If you or a loved one is facing dementia you are not alone but getting through this process can not be solved by others. Family and friends can be there for you but in the end the journey is one we each must take.
When you reach acceptance then the support of your family and friends is like a warm blanket that covers you in comfort like you never knew, and you realize you are not alone.
